Suzanne Bernert is a German-born Indian actress living in India who works primarily in Indian films in various languages. She was born on 26th September in Detmold in Germany. She grew up in Westallgaeu Region in Bavaria in Germany. She did a three year Acting Course with Heidelotte Diehl and then went on to perform at AuGus Theater in Neu Ulm with the play 3XLife by Yasmina Reza. A chance encounter in Dubai brought her to Bollywood where she has a successful TV and Movie Career since 2005. She is known for speaking very good Hindi and that she can act in Benagli and Marathi. Noteable work include Titan Ad opposite Aamir Khan, playing the first foreign Bahu on Television in India , being the first negative Lead in "Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat" as Queen Helena and most important ..playing Sonia Gandhi as the first ever Actress worldwide in "The Accidental Prime Minister ".October 2019 saw her stepping into Producers Shoes with "Majnu ki Juliet" in which she also acted . March 2020 saw the release of her first WebSeries "State of Siege 26/11" on the Mumbai Terror Attacks. She played a Jewish Hostage Yocheved Orpaz.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013 at the La Trobe University in Bundoora. When I left, I moved to England where my family is from and studied at the Birmingham Theatre School. During my time in the UK, I was fortunate to perform on the same stage as my grandmother at the Highbury Theatre Company in the production of The Winslow Boy. When I returned home in 2015, I enrolled back into my studies and completed a Diploma of Education at the Victoria University. Throughout this time, I had the pleasure of joining the Real People agency and attending my first commercial for TAC as a dog walker. In 2015, I began participating in more films and attending the Screen Actors franchise run by Belinda Sharp. As I began to gain more experience on film I started starring in more short films by the Melbourne Film Group and writing and directing my own material.

Suzanne has starred in many feature and short films, Charlie Noades RIP written & starring Neil Fitzmaurice from The Office, Phoenix Nights & Peep Show in which Suzanne plays Neils fiancé Sarah this was taken to Cannes Film Festival. Suzanne has also presented Wish You Were Here for ITV1 and Xchange for the BBC. She achieved tremendous critical acclaim as Maggie at Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool in the sensational comedy Brick up the Mersey Tunnels, which smashed the box office records and returned by public demand with the same cast for 6 consecutive years. Suzanne was applauded for her performance of the My Angry Vagina monologue within the prestigious Vagina Monologues and she supported V day with compassion and excellence. In 2012 she was awarded the Best Actor Award at The Liverpool Write Now Festival for her portrayal of Lucy Russell in Ian Moore's two handed psychological thriller Catfish Therapy. Suzanne works tirelessly for many charities, modeling and hosting many events. Ambassador for Liverpool Marathon which she ran in honor of her late Mother Carolynne Collins.
