Monique Asai Blanchard was born in Southern California to parents of Japanese and American descent. Monique's love for the arts began at an early age but her talents as an athlete gained her a scholarship on the U.C.L.A. Women's Water Polo team. After winning back to back National Championships, her curiosity in the field of arts and entertainment only deepened and she soon found her undeniable passion for modeling and acting which took her out of the water and on to the stage.

Monique Bricca is an American actor who has performed for film, television, and theater. Bricca was born in San Francisco, California shortly after her parents migrated from Marseille, France. While growing up in San Francisco in a dual-language home, she returned to France for three months every summer to visit her relatives. Bricca has remained fluent in French throughout her adult life. Painfully shy as a child and young adult, she recalled that when assigned to give an oral book report in high school, persuaded her parents to call in sick as she feared standing in front of class. Shortly after graduating high school, Bricca was "scouted" by a leading model agency, rapidly conquered her fear of performance on the catwalk, and within a year had become a successful print and runway model in San Francisco. She also began studying acting while attending community college. While modeling in Paris, she was invited by Christian Dior to be part of the "Dior Cabine" of resident models. Bricca went on to enjoy a career that spanned more than two decades as a fashion model in Paris, Tokyo, Milan, New York and Los Angeles. She has appeared in countless magazine editorial features, print advertisements and on television commercials. Monique Kathleen Candelaria was born February 11th, 1987 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Carla Bernadette Castillo and David Robert Candelaria. Soon after she was born her father joined the army and they moved to Bremerhaven, Germany where her brother, David A. Candelaria, was born. Monique also has 2 half brothers (twins), Ivan and Nathan Del Curto, which are a year younger than her. After her father suffered from a brain aneurysm, making him a 100% disabled veteran, her family returned to New Mexico and her love for the arts began to flourish. Her most recognizable role was Lucy, the Denny's waitress from _"Breaking Bad" {Live Free or Die (#501} (2012-2013) (TV)_. However, her 1st lead role was in a feature film was _The Control Group (2014)_ starring Brad Dourif. A couple of years later she was cast in her 2nd lead role in the film _Cents (2016)_ as the character Angela Baca who struggles with being a single mother raising a mathematical genius.
