Gaurav Kapoor is one of India's most promising stand up comics at the moment, in spite of having no relation with THE Kapoor family. He's been a journalist and fashion management executive by profession in the past, but has always been a stand up comic at heart(or so he says). He's undergone the usual struggle to establish himself today as a young comic to reckon with. Known for his clean yet rib-tickling comedy, Gaurav has performed for numerous prestigious private clients and the biggest corporate clients, including Bacardi, Yes Bank, Maruti, Hindware, HUL. Having opened for comedy giants such as Vir Das and Russel Howard, Gaurav himself is a Headliner today. He tours the country with the best of Indian comedians playing to packed auditoriums. He has also featured in highly acclaimed web series Pushpavali created by Sumukhi Suresh and Humorously Yours created by Vipul Goyal, where his performances were applauded.
