Trained at the Theatre Academy in Maastricht, Bart van der Schaaf has worked with Tim Carroll at The Factory Theatre in London, and performed in their acclaimed production of The Odyssey and in their productions of Macbeth, Troilus and Cressida, Timon of Athens, Measure for Measure, Pericles and Two Gentlemen of Verona . In between he has toured Europe with Iván Fischer's Budapest Festival Orchestra as Papageno in The Magic Flute. In the Netherlands his theatre work includes the title role in Coriolanus and several Chekhov productions. His TV and film work include the TV series Flying Dutchman (2020) and the feature films Rundfunk, The Resistance Banker, The Inspirator, Finn and several award winning short films. He is also the narrator in the short film Sand, nominated for a Gouden Kalf for best short film.

Bartholomäus Kowalski was born in Dzialdowo (Poland) in 1988. When he was 2 years old he moved with his family to Germany. Since his childhood days he has been very interested in movies and acting. After finishing secondary school he went to the Freiburg Drama School from 2005 to 2009 and after a successful graduation improved his acting skills at the Film Acting School in Cologne from 2009 to 2011. Bartholomäus has made several short films, played theater and works a lot with people in the independent sector. He loves new challenges. In 2013, he worked with the international stuntman and actor Mike Moeller on the martial arts film "One Million Klicks". A year later, Mike and Bartholomäus collaborated again on the Mark Dacascos action-film "Ultimate Justice." Bartholomäus has also worked with the great German actors Anouschka Renzi, Uwe Fellensiek, Martin Semmelrogge, Ralf Richter and Claude-Oliver Rudolph on the movie "Tal Der Skorpione" aka. "Breakdown Forest." The movie was released in German cinemas on June 20, 2019 and is Kowalski's first starring role in a feature film. In the summer of 2018 he shot in Warsaw the third season of the very popular Polish television series "Wojenne Dziewczyny" where he had the chance to work with the great Polish actor Robert Gonera.
