Byrne was in film school at Center For The Media Arts in 1983-85 in NYC. He was behind the camera wasn't making it so He left to start a family and about five years ago a little show called Boardwalk Empire was looking for there new cast. He was in the opening shot to start the new show off from there was used for all five seasons finishing with a Co-Star as Whiskey Whiskers on Ep 3 in Season 5. Along the way he has done a few music videos with Dee Snider - Mack the Knife & Chris Malinchak - Stranger ft. Mikky Ekko playing some offbeat roles. Also had a role in Art = (Love)² (2012) which won awards all around the world, He has another short Deep Red Dandelions: which is a very dark short about a real-life Mass murderer of children (Albert Fish) in the 1920's &30's tales so bad they are hard to believe, but are said to be the story that started the Boogieman tale.
