Austin had his first professional photo shoot just two months before his 4th birthday for the Chiquita Company's 2005 annual report. So began Austin's modeling career at age three, which gradually turned into television commercials and shows, to voiceover projects and on-screen principal roles, along with live theater performances beginning at age 6. "Whip It", directed by Drew Barrymore and starring Ellen Page, was a wonderful first film experience. You may have seen him as Kristen Wiig's, 6 year old son Riley, in "Whip It" or Josh Lucas' son in "Hide Away". His favorite stage roles thus far include that of Quasimodo in "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" and Professor Moriarty in "Sherlock Holmes". Of the 22 musicals and straight plays Austin has performed so far, one includes the role of Arty in "Lost in Yonkers" at The Dio, a regional equity dinner theatre. In addition to acting, Austin is a percussion section leader for the school marching band, plays a variety of percussion instruments for the Wind Symphony, performs with the Chamber Choir, and is an Eagle Scout candidate.
